Mother hear her son’s heart beat again after Organ donation

"Congenital heart defect" is another way of saying your heart had a problem in its structure when you were born. You may have a small hole in your heart or something more severe. Although these can be very serious conditions, many can be treated with surgery.

A 4-year-old Jordan Drake was born with a congenital heart defect and spent her first few years of life in a hospital, and doctors said her only hope was a heart transplant.

In June 2013, 7-month-old Lukas Clark died. Heather Clark Lukas’ mother bravely decided to donate her child’s organ to help others. Fortunately, Jordan Drake, who was born with a congenital heart defect and would have died without a donor was the recipient.
Recently, the mother of Lukas (Heather Clark) and Jordan (Esther Gonzalez) met for the first time. The two mothers cried and hugged as they met and whispered “Thank You” to each other. Heather wept again as she listened to her son’s heart beat in Jordan’s chest through a stethoscope. Heather said “It’s so strong” while crying.
Esther Gonzales (Jordan’s mother) told to the reporters that when she learned about the organ donation, she spent the night crying because she knew the donor’s family had just lost a child.
Before the meeting, Heather said in a statement, “It’s a miracle that we connected and that Jordan is living happy and healthy with Lukas’ heart beat inside her. I’m so in love with this little girl that I’ve never met. I can’t wait to wrap my arms around her.”
Heather added while crying that she’s excited to hear her son’s heart beat again.
