Anne Curtis strongly defended her sister, Jasmine, and her boyfriend Erwan Heussaff about the photo that went viral. It is a Snapchat photo wherein Erwan was hugging Jasmine, uploaded Tuesday, January 26. Though there is no further information about the picture, social media fans and addicts has been crazy about it. Many detractors has been putting malice on the photo that made Anne react on her Twitter account. On her post dated January 26, 2016, 8:30PM, she firmly said “This is the only time I will comment on this issue. So please STOP saying awful things about my sister and boyfriend.” Along with the Twitter post is a screen grab of her longer statement addressed to the critics.
Celebrities are also humans. They have the right to post whatever they want. But everyone should always think before posting or clicking anything on social media. The responsibility and pressure becomes double to them because they have this so-called ‘image’ to protect. However, everyone should have social responsibility to respect each other. We can say anything about a certain matter but we need to make sure that no one will be hurt or offended. With Jasmine and Erwan? C’mon… Let’s all be mature with this. It could be a hug of a brother to a sister and nothing beyond that. Anne and Erwan has been in a relationship for years now, and Jasmine might just be very close to her sister’s boyfriend platonically.
